What do men want?
To answer this correctly without generalising one would have to first examine the question. Firstly the use of the word “men”. All men differ as do women, but in the case of the “Vir Devotus” one would be broadly speculating to assume that all men like the same.
One could assume the following about men –
We like a plenty of sex, little conversation, ladies in the street and whores in the bedroom, we love spending time with out mates, we don't understand women, and dislike shopping, beer is great, on good day better, and anything to do with sport is magnificent.We also might imagine that men –
Would love to understand women, enjoy a healthy sex like. We love spending time with out mates, but that’s also just some quality time away from the you, we love a lady in the street and whore in the bedroom, and you must respect us but more so yourself.We might want a girl who has her own agenda or hobbies that keep her occupied and don’t rely on us as a constant provider of an itinerary.
We’ll look at your friends and whether we like it or not we’ll most likely critic you by them. We love a good family, and the less insecure you are the better, jealousy is cute in small doses, but the smaller the better.
We love spontaneity & impulsiveness, and dislike constantly planned events. We don’t mind the odd family function but keep them spaced out.
We don’t mind hearing about your ex once or twice, but don’t make it a constant episode. Don’t bring up details of your past experiences and for god sake don’t ask about ours.
Say something once but don’t nag. And once a month when you’re feeling bloated, tell us how we can help, honestly we’ve got no idea what it’s like, and it’s a struggle to empathise.
Measured confidence is everything, there’s nothing more unappetising than self-doubting people, men or women.
