    FYI: The last 4 recessions all have something in common, all of the U.S. Presidents were are Republicans.

    1982: President, Ronald Reagan
    1991: President, George H.W. Bush
    2002: President, George W. Bush
    2008: President, George W. Bush

    And before there was a housing marketing meltdown and scandal their was the "S & L" Savings & Loan scandal of from the 1980's and 1990's which involved Neil Bush, son of then Vice President of the United States George H. W. Bush. Neil Bush paid a $50,000 fine and was banned from banking activities for his role in taking down Silverado, which cost taxpayers $1.3 billion. A Resolution Trust Corporation Suit against Bush and other officers of Silverado was settled in 1991 for $26.5 million.
