Well I don't suppose it's a very practical thing to suggest, but I don't suppose he's been indulging in a little party snow or any other thing of the sort? If it's so out-of-character and a drastic change from the past... just thought I'd mention it because my cousin had a similar situation with the boyfriend being all of a sudden crazy and stressed out (although the ending to that story is a little hazy).
