To distract myself from a snivelling kind of cold, I made a candle from a clementine and olive oil. I'd been playing with the flame for about an hour when the thought struck me that I could, perhaps, dry my nose a little by breathing in lightly from above the flame.
Of course, I leaned in too close, inhaled too hard and burned myself.
The sensation and smell that goes with a small lick of fire in a cold-ridden nostril is not something I'd recommend.
Making a flame from a clementine and olive oil, on the other hand, is something I would recommend. Though, perhaps, not unless you really have nothing better to do on a Saturday night.
I write this in memory of the flame that is about to go out.
Sweet orange warmth, I love you.

- If I had time I was going to shop some flames into the shining pic but, alas, I don't.Jnr_Madison
- It is fine as it is, dear boy - though the ginger/dark hair mix is unsettling. More so than the manic source material.Nairn
