I remember there was this one company that would do the t-shirt design work for many private labels, and when I approached them and gave them a quote of $300 per design they were baffled and offered $15 for each. Mentioning that there was a girl that was a "pro" that would routinely put out designs for $15 each and then proceeded to show me their "book" which consisted of all their work to date, saying "Maybe if you were designing for Prada, but over here, if we gave out $300 per design, we'd be losing MILLIONS"
