i talked to my bf online through my ex boyfriend on a stupid indie rock/sceneter site. i met another guy i dated through michican hardcore on the plusminusrecords.com site when i lived in cleveland... but all those people i knew or at least have seen in real life and happened to bump into them online.. kinda like "oh i know you through so and so" kinda thing.
i think a lot of people meet people through regular sites.... forums and such.. and talking on AIM.. if someone hits on me online the creepy meter goes through the roof. its so weird. i would assume most people are friends first with people online and maybe it turns into something more.
why dont you ask your friends where they went.. if theyre into the dating site thing since you say they all have a lot of experience. ...
