I applaud the cause, but still feel the book has zero value other than the money going to a UNICEF! and from a self promotion point of view the column inches/blog time you have generated for yourself as I a young enthusiastic designer, I guess are priceless.
A friend of mine purchased it and after a quick browse, I initially liked the size of it, but felt it was very basic, certainly not the most hansom of volumes, however, what I found most frustrating and this is what IMO strips it of all it's value, it doesn't have an appendix of fonts used, surely this must be the most important consideration, as anyone who isn't that typograpically versed buying this in the hope to find out just what all the cool kids were using, would have to go on another hunt to find out what said fonts were!
