I had to uninstall particular very recently and found 1.5.1 to be very frustrating to get rid of.
This tricky little plug-in is not in the usual after effects plug-in folder
you can find it here on a MAC:
/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Common/Plug-ins/CS...If for some reason your location is different, open up your "Plugin Loading.log" at the bottom of this text file you will see a location like this:
Loading /Library/Application Support/Adobe/Common/Plug-ins/CS...
The plugin is marked as Ignore, so it will not be loaded.
