My ex-business partner used to insist we spent about £200 per head on a special gift for our ten best clients. He was right in the sense that it cost us only 2000 in tax deductible outlay to treat people who were giving us the lion's share of our annual income, but still, I used to think "Fuck that, these people drive me nuts every day, I wouldn't buy them a dose of botulism".
Consequently I now do nothing at all.

Actually this year if I get some time I think I'll do a nice limited edition screen print and give that to all the people who have driven me nuts this year.
