Well, I'm getting the hang of this soldering thing... got a few spit backs to the hand though, had about two or three little lead balls to pluck out of my skin after that. Ouch... at least the Strat is now working fine (the output joint to jack had broken), no longer has those pesky tone pots, and is just waiting for the bridge cavity to get routed a bit to make room for some real vibrato action.
