One time my employer sent me to an all day Adobe seminar to learn about "new products and other important issues"
It ended up being a sales pitch, and the speakers culdn't even answer the simplest of technical questions. they had rehearsed demos that they couldn't elaborate on at all. It was a complete waste of time and money.
