fuck, i was a photographer for years before i even discovered newstoday. then i became a designer but somehow people here only need webdesigners. so i started to hate this farkenjaab.

now i have to start over in photography (professionally again) and i have little money, and only one SLR and one pretty basic zoom lens.

you can't get credit with banks at all for creative jobs like this over here.

so i have to deal with it.

and let me tell you this son:

the BEST photographers out there started out with extremely simple equipment.. for instance Corbijn but also many other, such as Sieff and so many more..

    WHY?
Because you have to focus SO MUCH more on your skills and IDEAS instead of ENDLESS whining about equipment as so many starting photographers do.

And if you do have a million, and you buy all the equipment you can, and believe me, i know people who do, you usually end up shooting shitty because you rely too much on your stuff and "all those possibilities" that it becomes supertechnical and very technically superb but often pretty boring..

    WORK ON IDEAS
WORK ON BASIC KNOWLEDGE OF LIGHT AND COMPOSITION!

    AND GOODLUCK!
