Fuck that. Dude....where you are in your career you can find a place that doenst care. You will be happier in a place like that anyway.
That said, keep working on your website and your resume until you have a job, pull your hair up for an interview, make sure you are clean, relatively polished and professional and you will be ok.
Also...when you redo your website, make the images larger ( more dominant ) and ditch the photography on your design website. (maybe a subdomain? Its obviously a hobby and doenst belong on your design website)
