i suggest to figure is if she is interested in character development or in the story before you want to just give her the titles you love.
there is a lot of great independent books out there with amazing writing but with crappy art.
why not give her a tour of your local shop and let her speak to the sales people there and see what she likes.
its great you made 1 chick in the werld get into books and i applaud you for your 5 years of begging and prodding and look at you now!!!

i suggest any spider-man title in the ultimate universe, i suggest westerns from europe, and anything steve mcniven illustrates.
