  I'm listening to some original Leadbelly recordings from the late 1920's that have recently been discovered and remastered. Leadbelly was a proud and defiant man and unafraid to stand up to the cruel and hateful white people who did not recognise the rights of black people at that time, and viewed them more like livestock than fellow humans. And as I listen to this angry man's own brand of blues music, I feel moved... literally compelled, to say "Speak up man, stop mumbling, and for goodness sake what are you recording this on... sandpaper? it sounds bloody terrible. Do you think Girls Aloud made it with this kind of sloppy workmanship? eh? COME ON MAN, PUT SOME EFFORT INTO IT AND STOP GOING ON ABOUT CATFISH ALL THE TIME FFS".
