Maybe they dabbed your ears with eucalyptus oil, to create the cold sensation, in order to create the impression that your hair was cut. Maybe they just used you as a front for a drug's deal. Maybe they aren't barbers at all but yardies. Have you checked to see if your hair is any shorter? Becuase if it isn't, I'd call the police. You could be on to something quite big. Like a sort of barbershop scam.
