Ok. I decided to save and got a FS100 today from circuit city. Although the cam itself looks nice, it shoots pretty terrible at home with lights turned on. It's really really grainy and unpleasant looking unless you have a strong light next to the subject you're filming. A big disappointment. I still need to check out how it films during the day. If it's going to be a great quality, i may consider keeping it. But if it's going to look like it's from a cellphone, i will return it.
The question is -- does this HF10 or HG10 (bigger matrix) is any better in low-light conditions. And by low-light i mean a pretty strong light i have in the kitchen... it's pretty damn visible. Elpasso, i would love to see some video samples if you get it soon. But i need something because i'm leaving in one week to Israel.
