My meeting went really well. We just discussed the project at work. And then a co-worker who is in charge started to talk to me about how I am making good career and educational choices. A "one-two punch" he told me. He said that he had originally tried to get into the RCMP but it was around the same time as when the government said they wouldn't be hiring white guys for a while, so he went into the public service industry instead. Two of my co-workers said they really appreciated all the work I am doing while also going to school.
It was good fun and made this day better.
