i didnt do any homework for getting one.
just realised my contract with orange was nearly up, the latest phone out was the iphone and had everything i wanted from a phone
so just went and got one that morning.the guy in the shop asked if id been trying to get one for ages?
i replied nope and that id just decided that morning to come out and get one if it was available.
he laughed and said thats been quite a popular case - the people who werent really botherd about getting one and its been a spur of the moment thing, they are the people who have just walked into a shop and GOT one and been using it worry free.
And that its the people who'd been Qing for hours/overnight to get them on their initial launch are the ones who went home without a phone or suffered the technical difficulties with o2 having their systems overun with the mad rush to buy and register these phones.
