You can surf the internet anywhere you want and anytime you want for FREE!!!!!
When you are near a free wifi (or your home/work wifi) then the phone will use that network for superfast access to the web.
When you are not near a wifi network it will just use 3G - its slower but not rediculously slow, very usable.As an example of handyness i was at a gallery in edin a month or so ago. Saw some photography that reminded me of other work so i thought id look it up while the lass i was with was at the toilet.
I was standing outside the toilets in the basement of a huge old museum and i still got a very fast and usable internet connection to do further research into what i wanted to know, i also checked how well the GPS was working in that situation too and it "found me" just as quick as if i was standing in the street.
