when the chat was opened up to Q&A after his reading, the first thing he did was tell us how much he hated Q&A sessions and declare that HE would be asking the questions. He asked one guy something, got an answer, then some chode blurted out "why did you burn a million quid" and BD goes "I'M ASKING THE QUESTIONS HERE" then calls the session off and goes to do the highly awkward signing session.
the man's a legend in wind-up merchant circles, a personal hero of mine. All the stuff like the £1M quid thing and his refusal to say why he did it is so perfectly pitched to get meedja types frothing at the mouth with interest then dying of frustration when he turns on 'enigmatic mode'. hehehe, twist the knife Drummond you big cunt :D
