actually broadway is so-so, the best the area has to offer is off of broadway...start at 11th and pike, check out 35th st. skate shop, don't forget to go up stairs and check out Ltd. RUN RUN(great little shop within a shop) from there head west to broadway(2 blocks) scoot 1 block north to Pine st, stopping at Atlas on the way. Hit Pine st and head west toward downtown, lots of cool independent stores run by local folk, grab a burrito at Bimbo's, don't miss Lipstick Traces, super cool little store, or Wall of sound, which is a great record/book/zine shop.Area 51on the corner of Bellevue and pine for all your mid century modern goods. Head north on bellevue and veer right on Olive for som more thrift shops and Seatltle retro shoes, that street'll take you back up to Broadway, where you can check out the parade of interestin people.
