Don't want to sound like a sanctimonious cunt but the last thing you should do when stopping smoking is tell eveyone you're topping smoking. Its much harder to stop smoking when everyone you know asks you how you're getting on not smoking, reminding you of smoking every single time. Just keep it to yourself, don't make an announcement, don't make a ceremony, don't make outward pledges or vows, just tell yourself its time to stop and if anyone notices and comments that you don't seem to be smoking any more just tell them you're having a bit of break for a short while.
Really, its the way to do it. Takes all that pressure right off, and if you should waver from the path of abstinence you don't feel like a failure that may as well carry on smoking you can just say to yourself its okay I weakened but it doesn't stop me from leaving it behind again.
Your worst enemy as a smoker who is giving up is another smoker. The smokers you leave behind are devillish cunts who will want you to fail and start smoking again becuase that makes them feel better about their smoking. If you tell smokers youa re giving up they will make it very fucking hard for you in very subtle ways.
Just keep that stuff to yourself. Don't look for verbal rewards or support for fuck's sake. BE REAL MEN, YOU PAIR OF WEAK WILLED TOSSERS.

- Yeah, it's true! You either need a friend who won't talk about it, or just stop talking about it to others, especially here, where membersJaline
