One of the very lowest points of my life so far was when working at DMB&B Agency, laying out Standard Chartered brochures on their two column (with no gutter) corporate grid and using only their awful blue and green corporate colours. I have no idea how much of my life was lost in photography studios shooting globes and piggy banks and toy airplanes and all that crap, then telling retouchers to make everything Standard Chartered green and blue. Then the marketing guy would get his pantone swatches out at sign-off and complain that a shadow in the picture was not Pantone 300c and I'd want to rip his fucking head off rather than explaining to him AGAIN, for the 400TH TIME, that if the entire photograph is all done to exactly match Pantone 300c it would be a perfectly flat area of Pantone 300c AND NOT A FUCKING PHOTOGRAPH ANY MORE YOU FUCKING CHUBWAD.
Oh God.
