indeed, 1600x1200 is killer. I cant see anything, and all that pink gets a bit too overwellming.
your work looks nice, however, you have all this space on your site, and the pics of the work are tiny. the design of your site looks more like a poster than a website.
i guess the biggest critisism is the use of space in general.
im sure you can find a better solution. Other than that, good stuff!
