we just had an awesome event at the College Basketball Experience here in KC. I am sure you can't all come here but if there is a good place like that near you, its a great way to do a party. Open bar and food, plus all kinds of activities already set up for you. all you do is write a check and tell everyone about it. easy.
otherwise, find a good party planner/caterer, set up a tent, hire a good band and let the booze flow.
open bar is key.
