is basically a news site that promotes news about typography.
If you register, it looks like you will be able to save some news to your favorites, and what it looks to be the shout box, feels similar to the public voice column in here, where people share links..Regarding hierarchy, it looks like the newer posts are on the top, and the old ones go to the bottom, till they move to the next page, pretty standard with the exception of multiple columns, which as opposed to the similar hierarchy system we see in blogs, this might be more functional for those who have big monitors, as it looks like the content stays in grid when you resize your browser window to be wider than normal.
