  i have yet to meet a designer who disses powerpoint that has ever been in the position of making lots of regular presentations at business meetings and conferences where the presentations need to be changed constantly and sometimes updated on the way to a meeting.

  I have yet to come across anything other than powerpoint / impress to allow this type of flexibility for as wide a range of people.
