    When i was at high school, one of my mates used to have a wee deal going with the local chippy, he'd go in at the end of lunchtime and get his dinner but would also get all the crispy-bits (bits of batter that had fallen off other things waiting to be bought).

    You could get a deal going with the surgery, go in and get all the off-cuts, quick little fryup on a camping stove back at the office and hey presto ...... (almost) crispy bacon, slap it into a bap
