Last time I was putting my folio together I went for something handmade. so I got heavyweight grayboard for the cover and printed out all my pieces on an a3 inkjet, then cut notches into the grayboard and printouts and used an aluminium tube for the binding.
I have seen similar bindings on stuff since, which if you're getting a diecut made would be much easier!It was a bastard to make, especially since my gf and I stayed up pretty much two nights on the trot making it, but it got me a new job so thats what mattered.
