ok, I just gave Palin's daughter thread a chance, in the hope that it might shed some new light on the US election thing, which I'm very interested in. Unfortunately I reckon I could close my eyes, open my mouth and match every argument word for word from memory of previous ones.
That actually worries me a good bit, cos I wonder if the actual election is simply going to come down to the same old entrenched views and prejudices, and the 'cult of personality' thing that I would hope would see the better man get elected actually means very little in comparison to the real thing I see here which is judgment of others and fear being the main drivers of people's positions.
