I've spent the afternoon in the garden, either knee deep in the paddle pool, or sat in the starry tent reading Mr Men books.
Earlier I tried to find a 6ft cardboard tube to post a piece of work abroad. Anybody ehre know where to go to get a 6ft cardboard tune?
The biggest one I can find is 3ft. The person suggested I but two and tape them together. I am concerned that firstly because the diameter of the smaller tube is very thin (as is the cardboard it is made of) so very vulnerable, and a join in the middle seems to me to be a sure fire way of making sure the piece of work gets utterly destroyed in transit.
I have to send an original 6ft square piece of work abroad. I am flummoxed.
- put two strong thing wooden sticks inside to give it strength?Jnr_Madison

- If it's that big, it'll make a paper airplane big enough to cross the channel, surely?anairn
- Buy three tubes, score a cut down the centre of one, wrap it between the middle of the other two, tape it up.anairn
