yes grunttt i believe in what you are saying yet epete22 answered his email, made a thread about it and is wondering how to blast the company back thru human resources yet, in the end he opened his personal life to the company and not vice versa, so who is at fault?
you are correct by all accounts as you value your personal life, but if an employee opens their personal life to the company then the company has their right to inject themselves into the life of that employee.epete22 have your personal info taken off the company email servers or change your emails to another. if you want to value your personal environment then make it so otherwise your work is accountable by you to complete it regardless of your vacation. you should learn to delegate your work out to your other co-workers and or freelancers, this is what they are there for, to help you. also discuss a better time and action calander ahead of time if you know you are to take time off then let the ones who can help you do just that, help you make a new schedule in completing your work, rather than getting stressed and pissed off they are walking all over your time off and your personal space.
thats all, if anyone else wants to read into my advice and call me an asshole then you should re-adjust your stance and look in the mirror and say it to yourself.
