I find it amazing that somebody would actually think that our need for oil is a justifiable reason to occupy and invade another, or was that a joke...
since when did anti-war translate to pro-saddam. While he has many supporters in Iraq he has few outside. Although the US/UK governments did support him in the years before the first gulf war. Because he was fighting with Iran, then an enemy of the US they supported him finacially and militarily.
I was anti-war because the Iraqi people have suffered immensly at the hands of their own leader and because of the greed of other nations. Over the last few decades their country has been bombed to bits, crippling sanctions have been imposed that further destroyed the country and humiliating its people. The US/UK/UN sanctions even restricted the production of paper - limiting any possible education for the young Iraqis. I could go on and on listing reasons/facts why the hypocrisy, greed and blatant lies that are spewed by bush/blair/rumsfeld etc. make me so pissed off.
do americans feel safe. i doubt it. start asking WHY people are so angry? what would drive somebody to blow themselves up. If you put it down to fanaticism or 'madness' your simple in the extreme.
