When writing about yourself

    Writing like you're "I" implies that you're on yourself, like right on top of, but not behind your face. There's a temptation to write like "he" or third person, but then everybody thinks you're talking about somebody else, and you're the guy (or persons) behind the face but then you're also NOT NOTICED behind the face, because of that.

    If for size you'd try 2nd (not 22nd) person, for instance, "You graduated in 1990 with really big arms and a gigantic wad of something disgusting stuck to your shoulders. You learned QuarkXPress for Technical Manuals before it fell off the monitor into the desk drawer. You have worked since 2002 as a mission control specialist at a Secret Ninja School." you'd then find that you are right on the top of the list (your resume,) as nobody's clear on who's behind the face but they know it might be their own self, and that could mean the future is talking. EVERYBODY LISTENS when the future is, or might be, talking.
