Because their management have a policy of getting the floor people to constantly try to tell me the thing I want isn't the thing I really want, and the thing Im supposed to 'really' want or need is a) Crap, and b) more expensive.
This, plus the lack of training in simple customer service and the fact that they just hover and eye you inconspicuously makes for a very poor customer experience and the feeling of being hounded.
Yes, give the clerks shit if they treat you in a way that you would not expect to be treated anywhere else, ever, then they can tell their managers who can change the policy and take a good look at the reasons why people that use computers and accessories all day, such as myself, never go in there and spend all of our techonology budget somewhere else.- = hate the game not the playa.
