    I think I've raised this point here before, but I'll raise it again: As we condemn racist sentiment, we should also acknowledge how much progress we've made as a society in neutralizing racism. A lot of you wouldn't believe the social milieu that I grew up in (70s & 80s). The difference between then and now couldn't be any more stark (thank goodness).

    I'm not saying that we should just shrug our shoulders and say, "Oh well, that's just the stupid folks," but we should remember that the reason these people repulse us so strikingly is because they are a dying breed.
