Don't waste their time with bad design. They will see plenty of it everywhere. Instead, inspire them, teach them about what they should aspire to do, move them, make them fall in love with design!
Gather a good collection of design work, as well as related fields such as interactive/motion, photography, writing, etc... and please! teach them some typography!!!!!
- I agree. By learning good design, I began noticing crappy layouts, poor kerning, Comic Sans, etc. everywhere on my own.dog_opus
