    I have a lot of respect for the guy (he's a true legend), but I became thoroughly bored with his music long ago. Twelve bar blues gets pretty darned redundant, especially if you play it, before too long. I'd rather listen to Robert Johnson. My favorite blues musicians are Stevie Ray Vaughan (the best of all time, in my opinion) and Taj Mahal, who is actually a local hero.

    • Yeah, his voice is awesome for the blues. The last bar band I played in did a alternate version of "The Thrill Is Gone," which was fun.dog_opus
