Yeah, while i was gettin' my design eju-muh-kayshun on MTV was bridled as one of the most hip, cutting edge places for all things design related - from motion to identity to interactive and web. Well guess what? Just becaues there's a demand for this type of garbage doesn't make it anything more than just that - absolute garbage. Besides, consider the audience. Most of the people who watch MTV(or it's affiliates) know next to nothing about design - think pre-teens / adolescents with nothing better to do than to let media brain wash their uninformed brains. It hurts my brain to consider the role MTV plays in the fragile world of design.... ok.. gonna stop ranting.
