  My little cousin is going through a phase right now where he is obsessed with petting and talking to animals. Particularly cats, since they are slow and look like they don't give a shit (dogs would probably surprise him). It's weird though. We found a random cat yesterday and, when he had to go home, he started whining and nearly cried while the cat went back to roaming the streets.
