Money VS Design
Okay here it is, the burning question. Which to chose money or design. I was recently laid of from my gig at a design studio. However, it wasn't really a big deal because I was really ready to quit anyways; I mean really ready. The good news is that I produced some really great design there and as a result, I have had a couple of really good interviews. To be more specific, I got laid off two weeks ago and since then I had 8 interviews. In any event, yesterday I was offered a really great offer for a senior design position. The offer pays about 20,000 more than I was making at the last position. Great huh? The kicker is that the same day I got the offer, I was contacted about an interview at a really great design firm in chicago. When I say great, I mean THEE great design firm in chicago; c'mon, we all know who they are. So here is the question; Should I accept the position (I'll be heading the design dept (in-house, ugh) or should I risk it for a chance at the big opportunity. Mind you that I have to give my decision on the offer by Monday.
