  - 4 dates (only 1 of which was initiated by me)
  - 2 super old girlfriends from various US locations that I would have never known what ever happened to them (closure)
  - 10+ reconnections to friends that I met over the years through other friends but had no contact information

  So, to answer your question of "friendster:super cool?"...
  it's great for few, good for some, and useless for others.
  hey, it's a free site (for now) so the only thing lost is time. if you're curious join, if not, don't.
