Man, I'll always in some way be stuck in that timeperiod of early to mid-90s rave and techo, although it 'sounds' dated, in that I can tell when it was made, it all still sounds futuristic, dark, edgy and eclectically joyful, hopeful and wonderous to me, exactly what all music and art should be.
No artistic or musical movement or genre has ever come close, there has been nothing new since acid house and rave and techno took everything from the past and mashed it into something new and different.
I will hopefully be an old man, living the ends of my days with a computer and some speakers, blasting out beats to the rest of the folks in the home, and it'll still sound as good. Life moves on from endless partying and self-discovery, and you need to take on differing roles in order to grow and become a full human being, but the most fundamental part of who I 'really' am will forever be leaping around in front of a speaker, hot sweaty and totally alive, as angular chunks of noise pummel my bones.

    • I am an unrecovered Rave addict. I really have walked on sunshine, and apart from my lovely family, life is SHIT without it.mikotondria3
