    layout:
think about teh grid structure - why do the two equal width (and therefor equal importance btw) columns not fill the width of the header? this makes the site look broken, leaving a mad dead space on the left which you need to fill. There's a difference between negative space (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ne... used tastefully in a layout and dead space, which sits there looking ugly and bringing everyone down. Like me on the train on the monday after a bender.

Either, make each column half the width of the header, or choose whether 'work' or 'blog' is of more importance and adjust the widths so one is 2/3 and the other 1/3 of the horizontal space.

It might be good to think of a different style of display for each type of content too, to better allow the brain to get an idea of what its seeing by scanning teh content, rather than relying on detailed reading. People hate detailed reading, its fucking boring.

I'll look at some more of it in a bit but I have my own work to do.

    hope that helps a little.
