  Poor people don't do it because they're too preoccupied with simple survival to "enjoy" the trappings of the West - like us. And at some point in your miserable existence, whilst sitting on a train reading HEAT magazine for the 1034th time, you realise that simple, humble survival would be more interesting and better for your soul. But by then it's too late. You are a fully integrated cog. You are a bit of a puzzle, and there's only one place to fit, and you are already in it. And then you do it.
