you're absolutely right, its a total wank. people who do it are completely selfish and have zero regard for those who love them.
I would say that is probably the most selfish thing a person could possibly do.
The irony is, whether you're in the worst physical pain imaginable or in the worst mental pain, or even on a relative scale not any real pain to speak of, you can't differentiate. you are guilty.
there shouldn't be any mercy, grace or understanding granted to you.
I cant really explain it other than to say, when you're at the lowest point you think you can get, then the bomb drops and you sink even lower, there is something so euphoric and fundamentally peaceful about the decision to take your life.
