not entirley related but i just watched this documentary about Marco Polo and his supposed trip through China. Basically this guy follows the book step by step through China to see if it matches what Marco Polo would have seen and considers whether or not the story is true or just made up from other stories about China. Lots of interesting tidbits on what it was like in china then and now. thumbs up!
