Yuo need to rember that the people usuing the site are not designers, and haven't seen/been worn out by all the 2A kind of stuff... And if the company that this site is for is marketing there stuff in this way then it's simply their choice, andpossibly what they choose to do to differientiate themselves from others in their market.
A idea that is obviously unknown to many web designers and their own sites.
