Uh ... those two slides into home were absolutely atrocious.
Unfortunately, that is exactly what happens when you block the fucking plate and don't have the fucking ball. It is not up to the runner to tip toe around if the catcher is BLOCKING the plate, let alone if they have the ball. It is the runner's duty to either slide through - risking severe injury to themselves; or run through - which is exposes them potentially to less injury to themselves, and also a nice reminder to get the fuck out of the way if you don't have a play on the ball next time Monsieur Catcher.
The 1st bean ball ... that was fine: low, slow and in the back. The 2nd one shown not fine: high, fast and at the ear.
